No tents are allowed on RV sites or at cabins.

Pet-Friendly Policy:  Cabins or Lodges
We welcome your pet to our campground. All that you need to do is let us know that you are bringing a pet and we will book you into a pet-friendly cabin or lodge subject to availability.  We charge a $25.00 non-refundable cleaning deposit per pet per stay (2 Pet Limit). We expect that you will take good care of your pet which includes not leaving your pet unattended in your cabin or lodge and that your pet will take care of you – making sure that you clean up after him or her. We have cabins and lodges set aside for pets and their owners since some of our other guests are allergic to pets. Unfortunately, if your pet persuades you to sneak him or her into a non-pet cabin or lodge, you will be liable for $300 in cleaning charges.

Pet-Friendly Policy:  RV Sites

We welcome your pet to our campground.  All that you need to do is let us know that you are bringing a pet (2 Pet Limit).  There will be no charge for bringing your pet with your RV.  We expect that you will take good care of your pet which includes not leaving your pet unattended outside or erecting any type of fence or pen around your site.  When your pet is taking you for a walk, it must be on a leash – making sure that you clean up after him or her.

Pet Policy:  Tent Camping

We do not allow any pets at all in tents.  If your pet persuades you to sneak him or her into a tent.  You will be asked to leave without any refund.

Aggressive Pets:

Aggressive dogs of any breed are not welcome at any Legacy RV Resort. If your dog shows behavior that is protective and unfriendly to strangers, please leave it home. If you decide to bring your dog and it exhibits this type of behavior the owner or management of the park will ask you to please find other camping accommodations.

Trash and Garbage: Please place all garbage in designated dumpsters. Charcoal is to be dumped in the fire ring at your site or cabin.

Clotheslines are not permitted.

Fireworks and Firearms are prohibited on park property. This includes BB, Airsoft and pellet guns.

Firewood: Due to the extreme hazard of insect or disease-borne wood, it is against Virginia State Law to transport firewood across State and/or County lines. Therefore we do not allow any outside firewood to be brought into the resort by our guests. We do have bundles of insect and disease free firewood available for purchase in the office/store.

Adult Supervision: For the safety of your children and consideration of all our guests, we require that all children under the age of 14 be directly supervised by an adult (18 years or older) while on Lake Ridge RV Resort property.

Failure to supervise can cause removal from the park without any form of a refund.

Swimming Pool: No Lifeguard is on Duty. Children under 14 must be supervised by an adult (18 years or older). Anyone behaving in an unsafe or destructive manner will be removed from the pool area. Only bathing suits are permitted in the pool. NO cotton material is permitted (ie. cut-offs, t-shirts, etc).

Smoking is not allowed in any Lake Ridge RV Resort’s buildings. This includes all Playground and Swimming Pool areas.

Visitors: Your visitors are always welcome here at Lake Ridge RV Resort, as long as they register at the Main Office. Registered guests and their visitors are expected to read and adhere to all campground guidelines. Guidelines are presented at time of Check-In. All your visitors must register, pay Day-Use Fees, if applicable, and leave the campground by 10 p.m.

The number of visitors allowed at your site is dependent on your site type and the maximum occupancy allowed for that site. For example, if you are registered in a cabin that sleeps 4 people and you have two people staying the night, the maximum number of visitors you can have is 2. Likewise, all campsites have a maximum occupancy of 6 people, so if 3 are staying overnight you can have a maximum of 3 visitors.

Recreational Vehicles: No battery operated vehicles nor motor-driven cycles, bikes or scooters are to be driven in the park. You may operate any golf cart that you rent from Lake Ridge RV Resort, provided you follow those guidelines, but you may not bring your own personal golf cart to the park.

Vehicle Repairs (including oil change, etc.) of vehicles and RV’s are not permitted in the park. You may check with the local listings for businesses that provide these services.

An RV Dump Station is available to dump your gray and black tanks on your RVs. There is a small fee for this service. Please check with the Main Office for more information.

Forms of Payments: We accept Visa, Master Card, cash or money orders. Sorry, we do not accept checks.

Drones: For safety purposes, we do not allow drones to be flown in our park. We apologize for any inconvenience.

Violation of these Guidelines is grounds for ejection from the park WITHOUT refund.

Camping is an outdoor experience, therefore we do not give refunds due to whims of Mother Nature.

The Management reserves the right to refuse service, limit the length of stay and the number of persons or vehicles per site and/or evict any person or party without refund. Park staff are not allowed to work on guests’ RVs.
